Our Buffalo Food Equity Network Director, Nnenna Ferguson, was invited by the New York Health Foundation to speak at the Transforming Food Systems: from Pilots to Policy Conference in New York City in December 2023. At that conference, Nnenna was also invited to be a featured speaker in the foundation’s video series on the topic of food systems planning.

The New York Health Foundation has supported food systems efforts in Western New York including the Good Food Buffalo Coalition and scholarships to attend conferences such as Black Urban Growers and the National Good Food Network Conference.
